56th Meeting of the Board of Directors of BFTI held

The 56th Meeting of the Board of Directors of BFTI was held on 29 October 2023 at the BFTI Conference Room. Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Commerce, Chairman, Board of Directors, BFTI and Senior Secretary, MoC, first Vice-Chairman, Board of Directors, BFTI could not remain present in the meeting for unavoidable circumstances. In the absence of the Chairman and first Vice-Chairman, Mr. Mahabubul Alam, Second Vice-Chairman, Board of Directors, BFTI, and President of FBCCI presided over the meeting in accordance with Article 53.C of the Articles of Association of the BFTI. The other Vice-Chairman and President of ICCB and among the other members of the Board of Directors, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Industries, Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Vice-Chairman, EPB, Chairman of BTTC, Rector, Foreign Service Academy, President of MCCI, Dhaka, President of CCCI were present at the meeting. The Board approved the Annual Budget of BFTI for the FY 2023-24. According to the workplan approved by Board, BFTI will be accomplishing 10 more researches and 18 trainings for the FY 2023-24. Dr. Md. Jafar Uddin, CEO, BFTI and Member-Secretary of the BoD presented the Working Paper. The Board also approved the date for holding 12th AGM of BFTI on 6 December 2023.
